We've had so much fog lately...some days not clearing until afternoon and then for only an hour. Today was wonderfully clear...but I could see the fog hovering, ready to sweep in on us at any moment. It makes me happy to see the blue sky and the hint of the sun on the horizon as I drive to work. This morning the jet trails were a beautiful apricot against the pale blue sky.
The forecast is for more air stagnation--which also means freezing weather and fog--for the rest of the week. Then we should have a storm and get some snow in the mountains for the winter sports enthusiasts. We are currently 3 inches under in our precipitation for the weather year.
