I haven't posted pictures on this blog yet, we'll see how this works, but when I went outside yesterday morning, I was struck by how the snow had piled up on tree branches. It is as if the snow fell straight down, and there must not have been any wind to blow it off the branches, because even the smaller branches had a thick layer, couple of inches or so. Try clicking on the picture twice to see it bigger, it may show up better in the bigger picture.
