Cosmography- I am guessing from the two greek words: Cosmos, meaning world or people; and graphia, meaning study or writings.So, I would say that cosmography is the study or writings about the world, it's people, and/or nature.
Sorry, that last post was an actual guess becasue I wanted to see if my greek was still up to snuff.My humorous guess would be:Cosmography: The science of applying makeup.You go to beauty school to learn cosmography.

Cosmography: The mapping of the cosmos, or outer space, the universe, etc.Funny guess: The making of maps to famous astronauts homes to sell to tourists.
