So here in Southern Oregon, we finally got a snow day. We had a couple of delayed starts early in the week. We have a phone tree, when the principal calls me, I call 6 other people. I talked to many of my coworker's spouses at 5:45 am. I didn't feel bad at all waking people up with such joyous news. Due to the unpredictable weather I did all my holiday stuff yesterday. The only misgivings I have about missing school today is that it was Pajama Day! My favorite day of the year. We all wear our jammies and snuggle in with good books and blankets. On the upside...it's 7:30 and I'm still in my jammies...sitting in the chair with Leno replaying on the DVR. I'm happy to have a day to get ready for our holiday travels.
We leave tomorrow and will be somewhat out of communication as the internet connection is not as easy to get to in Spokane. Ben may still be able to do a word of the day, but be prepared for a break from that.
