Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hey Family - I don't know what it is doing where you are, but we've got lots of snow. Which as you can imagine makes everyone very excited - especially our junior meteorologist who has been actively forecasting the event for almost a week! The snow struck this morning just in time for the powers at be to cancel church - a double bonus! So people have played - been lazy - taken naps - drank hot chocolate - and felt like Christmas. If it stays as cold as they say - and the snow stays around - and things become motionless (including Max 3 being unable to drive his car.....) - I suspect people will get a little cabin fever. But for now - we are enjoying the rare joy of a Portland snow day!

Hope you are all bundled up and warm. Love, Max.

Snow AND no church? Suweet! We had snow forecast and we've had some, but it hasn't stuck. We thought perhaps we would come out of church to a winter wonderland, but alas, we were sadly mistaken. I guess this means there will be school tomorrow. Enjoy your snow! xoxo

We awoke to such a scene this morning in Eugene.
