Things have gone quiet here for a couple of days and I'm missing everybody. Have been disappointed that the Head Rutabaga has yet to sign on and post. Renee -- ya got them set up didn't you? I'm also waiting for Isabel to sign on and tell us what the burrito said to the taco.
Not much going on here. Cameron has an appt with a realtor tomorrow to look at some houses. He got prequalified last week and is also meeting with an accountant to determine if some back pay social security he rec'd earlier this year can be waived from taxes if he reinvests it. Whaddaya think, CPA Ladies? The telling thing I find with this is that the girlfriend is ALSO going to the realtor with him. Hmmmmm .... do you think that's a sign?

I am sorry that I have been out of the loop lately. This last couple of days have been quite hectic. I will blog about it. But I have missed everyone too.
Kristy might be better to give tax advice. Her tax knowledge is probably a little more up to date than mine, but I am going to say that I think that SS income taxability is not avoidable by re-investments. Sorry.

I tried to get them set up, but it was to no avail. They were a little side-tracked. They wouldn't get out their computer. They weren't sure they had service. I finally got mine out at South Jetty Betty's--which had WiFi--and showed them the blog. I think when we get together the 27th we'll have them bring their computer with them. Max has wireless so we will get them hooked up for real then.
