Now ... to make that even weirder ... it was at the old LDS church in Bend, right across from the old bowling alley. Wrap your mind around that one.
Seriously --- if you've never given him a try, pick up the Rock N Roll Jesus CD. It's amazing. I can listen to it three or four times in a row. Once you get your groove on with that one, you might want to try some of his earlier (slightly more profane) CD's.
BTW ... does anyone know what "Baditawa de bang de dang diggy diggy diggy said the boogie said up jump the boogie" really means?????

Did he do some work with Willie, or another country singer? I think I've heard a duet with Sheryl Crow? I don't know his own stuff. If I were going to try one track from iTunes which one would you suggest?
He's best friends with Hank Jr -- has appeared with Gretchen Wilson -- and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something with Willie; definitely did one with Sheryl Crow called Picture.
