Jason, Jason, fools of the highest caliber?????? It's not that we wanted the Duckies to lose, just wanted to see an Oregon team in the Rose Bowl, but alas, that is not to be.
I'm not sure making a prediction on the evidence we've seen makes us fools. The Ducks have not played well, the Beav's have excelled this year. I wonder if there would have been a different outcome if both Rodgers boys had been available to play. You use pretty strong words my son.
While it may be a short and satisifying victory for Duck fans - Oregon looses - since we won't be represented in the Rose Bowl. The Ducks had every right to pound the Beavers - if they could -and they could. It is just disappointing that once again EVERY Oregon team CHOKES when it really matters.
Oregon has actually been playing pretty well as of late. So, to say that the Ducks have not played well is a matter of opinion. The Ducks have the better overall record, and Oregon State barely won the week before. The purpose of the poll was to ask all of us who we thought would win, not who we wanted to win. While I voted that I thought the Beavers would win, merely becasue they were playing at home, I personally in no way wanted to see Oregon State in the Rose Bowl. In fact, I never want the stinky Beavs to win a single game. Kudos to Jason for being optimistic about the Ducks rolling to victory, but I think that the gloating might have stepped on a few toes here. In my opinion, the state of Oregon does win, because the Ducks beat the Beavers and all is well and right again in the Douglas Fir and Evergreen universe that is Oregon.

Mom: I didn't realize you followed football so closely, I assumed you were just believing and following the hype around Oregon State, perhaps you would like to share this evidence you've seen and refute that. Uncle Max: I would take the Ducks taking #2 in the conference over the Beavs in the Rose Bowl every day of the week. The only thing I feel sorry about is Aunt Susie's friend who is unlikely to win his bet. I can't root for UCLA with slick Rick at the wheel, EVER!
Does everything have to be debated? Why should I show evidence? I can make a statement of opinion can't I? Ay, yai yai! We all need to take a chill pill!
Thanks Jason for thinking of Kyle. Poor ole KJ did not get the $24,000 he would have got had OSU been Pac10 champs. He has been incommunicado since Saturday --- Cam's convinced he's om a three week drunk.
