Went to bed really early last nite (I was exhuasted) so by 2am, I was wide awake but unwilling to get out of bed. Trying to force myself back to sleep, I used some of the following thoughts:
- mentally sang "Heaven on Their Minds" and imagined the scene from Jesus Christ Superstar
- Hugh Jackman -- yummy enuf to sit thru Van Helsing .... twice!
- worked on Cameron's wedding invitation list (no -- nothing happening there, just preparing)
- figured out the five greatest television shows ever
5. Northern Exposure
4. Six Feet Under
3. Seinfeld
2. Firefly
1. The Sopranos
- reviewed my last dirty dream
- tried to mentally create my friend Janellie's beet salad
- created a new six word memoir for myself: Totally Excellent Mother; Apparently Shitty Partner
- figured out what kind of dog I would get if I was getting one (labradoodle)
- Hope Won
- tried to come up with a weighted formula regarding how many times I'd been dumped and how many times I was the dumpee: which was most painful of the two
- developed a list of names for grandchild (again, nothing happening in that area)
As you can probably tell, I finally forced myself out of bed at 4am and came to work early. Oh well.

I will definitely agree with Seinfeld.
What? Not a Firefly fan? Don't like mob tv? Have a thing against homosexual funeral parlor owners? Never wanted to live in Alaska?
I have been meaning to watch Six Feet Under...
Just last night Cam, Nate (Cam's friend) and I were talking about how funny Seinfield was and what a great TV Show it was. I think we might rent it through Blockbuster and have seinfield marathons.
I assumed that somebody would be protesting that 'The Office' isn't on the list since there are family gatherings where people reenact office scenes or trips to Portland for Office weekends. How about the dress up party for this years season opener? Maybe I'm commenting too soon.
I would have to say I sometimes still dream about the Man from Uncle. Shouldn't that be somewhere? Ilya Kuriaken--what a dreamboat!
I am definitely not a Firefly fan, but I have to say I haven't really seen the other shows you mentioned, hence the lack of support for them. I am sure I would like the Sopranos and possibly Six Feet Under. Northern Exposure never caught my interest.
